    About Andrea:

I'm an independent, fun loving, outgoing, upbeat type of person. I love to meet new people and find it interesting to see what others have to offer. I enjoy the outdoors and am a very hands on person that definitely doesn’t mind getting dirty. I'm creative, positive and I love to laugh and feel I have a lot to offer the right family!

    In My Own Words

I was the head teacher at a preschool in my hometown in Maine. I was there from December 2007 to February of 2011 and in that time I worked in all the rooms from infants to school age as a teachers assistant before having the head teacher position in the toddler room open up and offered to me. I settled in nicely with being responsible for 10 2yr olds with the help of an assistant. I love what I did and think its most rewarding knowing I had a positive impact in the children’s future. One of the most challenging things would have to be keeping the adults on the same page. Communication plays a huge part in keeping structure in children’s lives, which I feel is very important. Since leaving the preschool, I have been working as a live in nanny in California for a family with two children, ages 3 1/2 and 2 months but unfortunately they are no longer in need a full time nanny.
