Hi, my name is Nakya I have an upbeat personality with a can do, team player attitude. I can adjust to any situation with a solution-focused approach. I have an extensive background in early childhood education with an emphasis on infant care and development. The reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other is that as a nanny, I am able to focus on the child individually and collaborate more closely with the parents to help them adjust to their child's growing needs. I take pleasure in watching children grow and being a part of their life experience! I have been serving in some form of childcare for over 10 years and can honestly say that I love what I do! I feel children are amazing, unique individuals that need to be nurtured. My goal as a Nanny is to collaborate with families to help them instill in and teach their children their own personal beliefs, traditions, and core values. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes the children's laundry, cleaning up areas used by the children, preparing meals, and running errands. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am reliable, flexible, creative, energetic, and compassionate. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include daily walks, co-op play, library time, singing and sign language, flashcards, reading, tummy time, and field trips to museums, parks, etc!"
