I believe that every child needs a respectful environment to express their mind and be understood. I prefer to work aligned to Magda's Way and Montessori (child-centered, promoting self-regulation), though I develop a specific way for each child. Creating art expands a child's ability to interact with the world around them, and provides a new set of skills for self-expression and communication. We paint, make drawings, piñatas, or houses for small world play. I value creating art from natural materials. I encourage reading. I’m fluent in Spanish. If you are interested, let’s develop a plan for your kids to learn it as a second language. I enjoy working with children of any age but I have an extra affection for working with babies.
