    About Emma:

I have over 3 years of experience working with children as both a nanny and an educator. I’ve cared for little ones in a private family setting, making sure they felt safe, loved, and engaged each day. My role included reading bedtime stories, helping with homework, preparing meals, and creating fun learning activities like games, crafts, and outdoor play. I always enjoy blending care with learning so that children feel both nurtured and encouraged. Beyond nannying, I’ve also taught in kindergartens, middle schools, and online schools, where I worked with children of different ages — from toddlers to teenagers. I’ve taught English, Science, and even subjects like Math, Art, and Social Studies. I love tailoring lessons to each child’s age and interests, whether that means singing songs with younger kids, sparking curiosity in science with older ones, or helping teens build confidence in English. Altogether, my background as both a nanny and teacher has given me the patience, creativity, and care to support children’s growth, learning, and happiness at every stage.

    In My Own Words

In the kindergarten, my day would start by welcoming the children and greeting their parents at drop-off. I always made sure each child felt comfortable and happy as they arrived. Once everyone was settled, we would gather for circle time, where I introduced the topic of the day — for example, learning about the weather. We sang songs, played games, and used colors, pictures, and stories to make the lesson fun and engaging. Around 10 o’clock, I helped serve breakfast, made sure the children ate well, and guided them to wash up afterward. Then we went outside for our morning walk and playtime. When we came back in, I helped them change into clean clothes and prepared them for lunch. After lunch, I made sure everyone felt calm and ready for nap time, giving them a smooth transition into their rest. When the children woke up, I offered snacks and juice, and we spent time again playing and learning through activities. In the afternoon, we often went outside once more for fresh air and games before it was time to prepare for pickup. I always made sure the children were tidy, happy, and ready to go home to their parents. Each day was a balance of learning, play, care, and routine — and I loved being part of the children’s growth and joy throughout the day.
